Spread the word!!

NEW YEARS EVE AT OUR HOUSE!
We want everyone to come! Get a group together and carpool on out to reunite with old friends. All different groups, lots of people. Here is a blog address to pass on to those you know. http://www.2008newyearseve.blogspot.com/. Make up your own email and slap on the blog address for more info. "Who do you want to be in 2008..."

How many Bazookas can you chew?

The kids and Sanderson decided to have a bubble gum contest. Sick I know. Lorraina, I thought you would like this one! I know it seems like it's "ode to the Elders", but when you snag their camera, you find great pictures!

Mud Man

Elder Sanderson decided to make a mud man. They worked hard on that thing. Not only does my front yard look great thanks to them but the back yard has some Christmas Spirit as well.

Sleeping outside

The Elders decided to sleep out by the fire after the ward party. Thought it would be freezing, but they kept the fire going all night. All cozied up!

Ward Christmas Party

We were asked to have the Ward Christmas party at our house. We ended up moving all of our furniture out and put in 13 round tables. Each table was hosted by someone different. The Elders spent the day getting lights up. It turned out really nice with over 100 people. We had yummy food and a great time!

Whats wrong with being short and stocky?

We went to payless and as we were shopping I heard the kids hysterically laughing. I found them standing in front of a mirror that makes you look very short and very plump. So Jon and I stood in, and we all just laughed for quite a long time. It was so funny that we wanted to take a picture and use it as our Christmas card, but it was coming out blurry each time. BUMMER. Not like our real Christmas card picture is any better of all of us (its the background that we loved...next year we will focus on looking cute, this year was all about the scenery.) Anyway, I had to post these pictures because I think they are hysterical. Reys arms looked like body builders. HA! You should really try it sometime! Thanks Payless for the laughs!

Somebody turned 1

This is the real Junior- Pretty good replica right?

This was the cake I made for Maverick. He loves Junior and attacks him all day long, so I was sure it would make him attack the cake as well. We put him and the cake on the middle of the table. With all Mavericks friends and siblings sitting around him, we thought he would dig in and maybe share with the other kids. It didn't turn out like we planned, but he loved the attention, and had no problem being the center of it...litterally.

He had so much fun with his gifts.
Somehow everyone knew
just what to get for him. He plays with "his" toys all day long. Thanks Jules for the dum dums, you can see he loves them!

Not so sure about Santa

Mick wasn't lovin Santa to say the least. Maybe he could sense he wasnt' the real one...who knows, all I know is he wanted out of there!
Hey does anyone know how to make these vertical??

A little night out on the town

Rey and Jake were invited to take a little (I mean huge) limo ride for a trip to IN-N-OUT and to look at the lights. Needless to say, they had the night of their lives. Rey even found out she has a secret admirer!
Jake flashing the dough
Fun friends made it a night of fun and laughter and one I know they will remember forever!

Daddy Daughter

Speaking of the big white car, Rey and Jon got to fit right in at the Daddy Daughter Sock Hop. They were so cute and Rey loved dancing with her Dad, and her Dad loved eating IN-N-OUT.

Mid West Moment

My friend Chessa was laughing uncontrollably when I pulled up to the park in Jons "big white car" with 10 kids and a dog. She called it a "mid-west moment."

But look how happy I am! I love that car! The seats are long and blue vinyl, they bounce when you drive.
