Jon and Jake's Week Backpacking
Jon and Byron Konold took 11 boys to the Sequoia's for a week of backpacking. Jakes pack was 25 lbs, and Jons was about 56lbs. They came back dirty, but had a great time. Jon thinks he's Bear Grylls and tried to tackle a deer. Who knows what else he tried while he was there. Jake loved it. When I asked him if he was glad to be home, he said, "no mom, I really miss it." What does that say about home???
Beach Day Part 2
We decided to go back to our Secret Beach the next day, since the first was so great. So of course we had some more adventures! Our main meal was provided by Jake (lobster) Appetizers by Luke (crab) and then the staple was our M.R.E.'s (chicken and Pasta)

We found a hidden secluded best beach in the world. Well maybe not hidden and secluded, but it is our new favorite. And don't ask me where, because we are keeping it secret! And no... there was no one naked!

Our Nephew Brock just came home from his mission! The kids were so excited. Nice "O" Brittany! Just noticed that... Anyway, He is so awesome, and he was a great missionary! Good Job Brocko, Glad your home!

Rey has a few girlfriends. What a fun group to grow up with! She had a beauty /make-up party that ended up turning into a war paint party!
Balloon in our Backyard
We have Balloons fly over all the time, but this is the first time it landed in our backyard. They gave us a bottle of Martinellis for the inconvience! Cool huh!!!
